This “miracle algae” is a concentrate of high quality proteins and other components with stimulating, purifying and regenerating properties.

This microalgae is a group of unicellular bacterial microorganisms of the genus Arthrospira.

Because it is rich in chlorophyll, it is a great detoxifier of the blood, and its high nutritional value has made it a superfood recognized by the United Nations to combat anemia and malnutrition. NASA even gives it as a

supplement to its astronauts.

SPIRULINA, SUPER NUTRITIOUS ALGAE AND DETOX

Spirulina is rich in chlorophyll, high biological value proteins, vitamins, the main minerals, essential fatty acids, nucleic acids (DNA and RDN), polysaccharides and an endless spectrum of antioxidants. Although it contains vitamin B12, its consumption does not increase the level of this vitamin in the blood, since it does not have the bioactive format that the body needs to absorb it.

Its proteins are very easily absorbed and make up between 65 and 71 percent of its nutritional composition. Furthermore, since they have all the essential amino acids, we are talking about a complete protein.

THE BENEFITS OF SPIRULINA

1. In states of anemia, it increases hemoglobin, improves blood quality and increases the production of red blood cells, thanks to its high iron content, its high concentration of chlorophyll and its content of phycocyanin, a blue pigment that helps induce the production of stem cells in the bone marrow.

2. It strengthens immunity, increases the production of antibodies and cytokines, including interferons and interleukins, develops greater protection against viruses and microbes, and improves immune status.

3. Due to its high content of provitamin A and zeaxanthin, both responsible for eye function, it is attributed with beneficial properties to improve vision in cases of macular degeneration or night blindness.

4. Due to its high content in proteins, B vitamins and minerals such as zinc, the hair cells are nourished and stabilized, giving it a stronger and shinier appearance. The same goes for the nails and skin.

It removes heavy metals, especially arsenic, which is increasingly present in our waters.

6. Its rich composition in easily absorbed proteins and antioxidants is useful for sportsmen and women to recover after intense physical effort. Also, its high content of calcium and magnesium helps to mitigate possible cramps.

7. Several studies have shown that it increases the intestinal flora, promotes bacterial balance and inhibits the proliferation of candida.

HOW TO TAKE IT

You can find Spirulina in capsules or tablets, and also in powder form to add to recipes.
